A removable insulation jacket is an engineered thermal barrier designed to protect critical components from extreme temperatures, environmental exposure, and fire-related risks. At Nutec Protective Concepts, our removable thermal insulation jackets are tailored for high-performance applications across the oil & gas industry.
1. Outer Protective Cover
A rugged, fire-resistant exterior designed to withstand harsh industrial environments. This outer shell defends against moisture, UV exposure, chemical splashes, and physical abrasion, extending the life of both the jacket and the underlying equipment.
2. Insulation Mat
The core layer is crafted from high-performance ceramic fiber insulation, selected for its superior thermal resistance. The thickness and density are customized to meet your exact temperature and PFP passive fire protection requirements, including compliance with UL1709 standards.
3. Inner Liner
A durable internal barrier that holds the insulation in place and shields it from internal threats such as fluid leaks, steam, or particulate contaminants. This layer also contributes to the overall structural integrity of the custom insulation jacket.
ProSol jackets are tested and certified for both Hydrocarbon Pool and Jet Fire scenarios for up to 180 minutes. Additionally, NPC has certifications for Overpressure Blast up to 1.4 bar. Our unique jacket design provides easy equipment access for inspections, maintenance, and operation. All jackets are designed and sewn at our facility in Tomball, TX, USA.
